For The Rest of US..

Some people are born with that “natural ability.” You know these people. The guy who comes in to the gym  benches two  or three plates and absolutely never worked out a day in his life. The person  who always seems to get an A on every exam but never seems to work that hard for it. Yes, we all may know at least one individual who exemplifies these qualities. For the majority such as I, we are all normal people. We were not inherited with these “gifts.” I know that I was never born with an IQ of 160 nor had the genetics to be that Hulk Hogan. I had to work my ass up there (This also goes to those who had to work their way up there). I had to constantly keep up in class. I studied every night trying to grasp concepts that just seemed unfathomable. Then there are those who never needed to study but still get higher than the rest of us. However, if you were awarded with a “gift” such as an IQ of 160, a photographic memory, or even Superhuman powers and used it in a way that does not make the rest of us envy you I applaud you. From now on I say forget those who have these gifts but do not use them wisely. I was envious and jealous of those who had these “gifts” but I have realized that it is better to work harder to achieve excellency rather than be born with it. It is also more satisfying when you do work hard because you see how much you have put in to reach that final end product. Also, if you do have these so called “gifts” you do serve as motivational factors for the rest of us. I will always look to pass you. If you are that guy who never worked out a day in his life but could bench two plates I will bench four plates. If you are that person who never needs to study but still get higher than everyone else on an exam I will do better than you. We should take to heart and not be discouraged that we were not born with these “gifts” but we should work even harder proving that we do not not need these “gifts” that some are bestowed upon.
