It seems today teenagers have changed. Hello, being friendly or just smiling at someone seems rather rare in our generation. Most teens seem to adhere to this defensive mechanism when approached by a stranger. For example, if I were to say hello to some random teenager I would be questioned and the look on that teenager’s face would just be so puzzling. Thoughts like why are you talking to me, get away you creep would be swarming the teenager’s mind. Why can’t we all just put a smile on and get along? That is not reality. Instead I think we should just gradually take baby steps. Maybe the next time we see a random stranger we should smile or actually make eye contact. Our generation is always being criticized upon by the older generations by such concepts as recognition, communication and benevolence. Then again which generation has not been criticized upon by another? So dear I say, comon you teenagers and let us fix this and make this generation the best damn generation ever!
